In-House Youth League
The Reading Royals Youth Hockey Association is accepting registrations for their 2024-2025 Youth League presented by Visions Federal Credit Union.
The RRYHA offers leagues to boys and girls aged 4-12 at the cross-ice, half ice, and full ice levels. The RRYHA leagues provide instructional coaching to kids with a focus on sportsmanship, equal playing time, and friendly competition. This in-house development model suits the hockey community that the RRYHA strives to build and sustain in Berks County.

CROSS-ICE (u6, beginner u8:
Our Cross-Ice league is set across manageable TEN-week schedule.
Each week will feature one ice slot.
The 10 ice slots will be broken down into 6 games and 4 practices for maximum skill development!
HALF-ICE (u8) AND FULL-ICE (u10-u12):
Our Half-Ice and Full-Ice leagues are set across manageable ELEVEN-week schedules.
Each week will feature one practice and one game, for a total of two ice touches per week.

Upon registration, each child will receive the following benefits with being a Youth League player:
- Custom uniform (Jersey and socks) with last name and number

Where:
Games and Practices will be located at the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex. The Championship game for Half-Ice and Full-Ice will be held at Santander Arena!
When:
The season will run from November to Late-February.
Cost:
All registrants must pay a $200 deposit. The full cost of each league (including the deposit) is below-
Cross-Ice - $500
Half-Ice - $700
Full-Ice - $900
Level:
Our In-house program is designed for beginner to intermediate players. Emphasis will be on fostering skill development in each athlete, while encouraging friendly competition in a fun atmosphere.

Do you offer payment plans?
We offer a payment plan option for league balances. After paying the $200 deposit, you can either split the remaining cost into two installments or pay the balance off in full!

FALL YOUTH LEAGUE u14-u16 SCRAMBLE
10 weeks of Games/Practices at BZ
Players will receive on ice-touch per week on a Sunday Night. The 10 ice slots will be divided into Games and Practices.
Games will be played in Scramble format, with new teams each week!
