Joely Griffith - Director of Youth Hockey
Joely Griffith joined the RRYHA program in 2021-22 as the Assistant Director of Youth Hockey with an emphasis on female player development. As the current Director of Youth Hockey, Griffith oversees the RRYHA's year-round Learn to Play, Try Hockey for Free, in-house leagues and Summer Camp programs. A native of Berks County, Griffith played three seasons with Alvernia University (NCAA DIII). Joely is also an Alternate Captain of the USA Women's National Deaf Hockey Team.
Bryce Witman - Director of the Junior Royals
Bryce Witman joined the RRYHA staff as a summer intern in 2022-23. As the current Director of the Jr. Reading Royals, Witman oversees the Jr. Reading Royals program, as well as the continued development of youth hockey players in the association. A native of Reading, Pennsylvania and graduate of Wilson High School, Witman attended State University of New York at Fredonia where he earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management. He played hockey for SUNY-Fredonia in the NCAA-III after previously playing for the New Jersey Titans (2018-19) in the North American Hockey League and Philadelphia Revolution (2015-18) in the Eastern Hockey League. Growing up, Witman played for the Junior Royals (2003-2005).
Marc Daouphars - Goalie Coach
Daouphars specializes in the development of goaltenders in the RRYHA. He oversees goalie skill clinics and individual lessons, as well as the growth of the Jr. Royals who will be competing in the Delaware Valley Ice Hockey League for 2024-25 season. Additionally, Daouphars will provide coaching towards the continued development of youth hockey players in the association. A native of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania and a Wilson High School graduate, Daouphars graduated from Millersville University in 2017. He played hockey as a goalie for Wilson and Millersville and has served as a goalie coach for Millersville University since the start of the 2022-23 season. Growing up, Daouphars played for the Junior Royals.
